Katie Gross

Owner | Lead Stylist & Lash Trainer

Katie Gross got her start in the beauty industry in 2003 as a graduate of National Beauty College. She then continued on her education and obtained her associate’s degree in business management in 2010 and hoped to use her degree to open her own salon one day. She achieved that goal and opened Suburban Lash Beauty in 2019.

Though she has been a Master Hairstylist in both TN and OH, in 2014 Katie decided to add a new service to her skillset: lash extensions. This new obsession opened many doors for her through the years where she became a trainer for Bella Lash, a Senior International Journalist for Lash Inc Magazine and was featured in a lash influencer book! She created and sold The Lash Artist Box (a subscription service for pro lash artists!) and has judged international lash competitions, spoken at lash conferences, and is currently the Head Trainer for the Endure Lash brand and offers local and nationwide training. You can see her pictured on the cover of Lash Inc. Magazine for November, 2021!

When Katie is not in the salon, making her customers into the best version of themselves, she can be found at home with her husband Dan, their two beautiful children Bennett and Blakely, their Goldendoodle, Toby Heath and mini Goldendoodle, Mabel Jean. You may even see her Vespa parked in front of the salon from time to time and you’ll know if it’s hers because the license says “LASHZ.”

Katie currently holds the title of Mrs. Ohio America 2023-24 and competed for Mrs. America in August of 2023! She is also a board member on the Nordonia Chamber of Commerce.

Katie hosts a chart-topping podcast show called The One With All The ‘90s where she geeks out over all things ‘90s! Listen wherever you enjoy your podcasts.

Hair Stylist/ Body Waxing

Katie P. comes to us with over 10 years of experience! She graduated from Akron Beauty School and has been licensed since 2013. She specializes in hair color and cute and goes above and beyond for her clients to give them the look they desire. Over the years she has built beautiful long-term relationships with her clients and takes pride in her work.

Katie P. recently earned her certification with Harper Ellis hair extension method in summer 2024!

On her days off, Katie loves to have fun with her daughter and enjoys her home with family & friends. She is always on the go finding new places and things to do!

Marissa

Lash Stylist & Advanced Esthetician

Marissa is a passionate esthetician who graduated from Rapheal’s School of Beauty in spring 2024. She always knew she was made for the beauty industry and can’t wait to excel in her journey. As a fresh esthetician she’s eager to learn and grow staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques. When she’s not busy with her clients you may find her trying a new product or brand on herself. Knowing first hand what her clients will be receiving is crucial to her. Marissa believes in creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for her clients, helping them feel confident and beautiful. She is beyond excited to embark on this journey and make a positive impact at Suburban Lash & Beauty!

Marissa specializes in lash extensions, custom facials, lash lift/tints, brow lamination/tints, body waxing, and dermaplaning.
